The American Musicological Society (AMS) and the Society for Music Theory (SMT) will hold their Annual Meetings jointly on 6–9 November in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Annual Meeting will bring together music experts, including researchers, teachers, performing musicians, public intellectuals, and people working across the creative industries. The conference includes hundreds of individual presentations, along with a large number of performances, small meetings, parties, and networking events. The Annual Meeting provides an unparalleled opportunity for your organization to reach a highly engaged community of listeners, readers, writers, and communicators.
This year’s Conference Program Guide lists timetables, social activities, performances, and other essential information about our conference. It will be distributed as a PDF to all conference registrants. Advertisements and products in the Program Guide will reach participants around the world.

Full-page: 8.5″w x 11″h, Half-page: 8.5″w x 4.5″h, Quarter-page: 4.25″w x 5.5″h. All ads in the Program Guide will display in color. Advertisements are accepted in color and can include clickable links. Links may be added prior to submission, or we can add them for you.
Ride-Along Insert Specifications
Full-page: 8.5″w x 11″h, Half-page: 8.5″w x 4.5″h. 1800 copies will be distributed in the conference map brochure. Copies must be received at the hotel no earlier than one week prior to the conference and no later than 3 November 2025.
File formats accepted: PDFs with fonts embedded are preferred. EPS or PS files with fonts embedded, and high-res TIF or JPG files are all acceptable. MS-Word .doc files may be acceptable if widely available fonts are used. Minimum resolution recommended for images: 300 dpi. Maximum file upload size: 30 MB.
Parties & Networking Events
Interested in organizing a coffee break, party, or networking event? No problem. We provide an economical option for universities, departments, centers, institutes, publishers, and professional organizations interested in scheduling a networking or social event as part of the Annual Meeting. Events may be scheduled for up to two hours and will appear on the conference program.
